NFPA is not automatically Texas law
NFPA standards and government regulations are different sources. Check the applicable Texas and local requirements for your property instead of treating the standard as a statute.
Use the standard with context
For equipment selection, placement, maintenance and testing, use the applicable edition and consult qualified professionals when the property has specialized hazards.
